We try very hard at PWMIM to give a good balance of items to our clients in our monthly boxes. We try to make sure you're getting meals, and not just random items, and unhealthy snacks.
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about how to make great meals from our Food Pantry Boxes. - Brandy
Tonight I took the pork patties I received in my box, and turned them into Salisbury steaks. I just brown them in a little oil. Mix 2 cups of warm water with a packet each of brown gravy, and french onion soup. Allow the patties to simmer in this mixture until sauce thickens. We like ours a little creamier...so I also add a small can of cream of mushroom soup, and a half can of milk. I do it on the stovetop, but it can also be done in the oven. - Brandy
Impromptu pantry dinner. We try very hard at PWMIM to give a good balance of items to our clients in our monthly boxes. This meal, other than just a few items, is all from a PWMIM box...the noodles, the broth, the onions, the tomatoes, the chicken, the milk, the butter. I added cheese, and greens. I enjoy these boxes for many reasons. They are super helpful feeding my family, and I love the challenge of building something tasty. - Brandy
Tonight I used the ground Italian sausage, two cans of diced tomatoes, one can of tomato juice, and elbow macaroni to make Marzetti/Goulash. Easy Dinner!! Took lease than 30 minutes - Brandy
Fruit salad made from pantry items. Apple's, oranges, and grapes. I added cilantro because I'm weird. Lol I'd rather it have been mint, but I didn't have any. Great for spring/summer picnic or lunches! - Brandy
